Aasha Services

AASHA organises social hubs and social activities to assist seniors with their social needs. At present we have social hubs in Crows Nest and Hornsby, Blacktown and Wentworthville. We plan to start more social activity centres in other areas of Metropolitan Sydney and regional New South Wales.

We organise health promotion forums, provide free health checks and provide professional advice on mental and physical health issues.

We often invite local, state and federal government and non-government agencies and bodies to provide information about their services for senior citizens.
We assist senior citizens in accessing assistance and services from local, state and federal government and non-government agencies and bodies.
We plan to inform government and non-government agencies about the cultural, social and health needs of senior citizens.
We assist seniors in accessing home care services. We have plans in place to be a service provider for home care and other services.
We assist families in identifying their senior relatives’ health needs. We assist such families in finding appropriate services for senior family members suffering from a serious physical or mental illness, disability and/or dementia
We support families and friends who are caring for their older family members and friends.
